Join us next spring for a dynamic three-day conference and pre-conference institutes, that bring together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, advocates, and people with lived experience. HFPC 2026 centers on evidence-based responses to homelessness that start with housing and are paired with voluntary, ongoing support services.

HFPC 2026 comes at a critical point for the field. Housing First faces increasing political pressure and mischaracterization as “housing only,” despite decades of proven success. This conference reaffirms Housing First as an approach to end homelessness by pairing immediate access to housing with voluntary, ongoing services that support stability, safety, and well-being. When people have a safe and stable place to live, they gain the foundation to pursue meaningful activities, maintain wellness, and build strong social networks.

HFPC 2026 will focus on strengthening and sustaining Housing First as a model of person-centered care, especially for people with complex needs. Sessions will examine how behavioral health care, physical health services, harm reduction, and crisis response operate alongside housing to support long-term stability. Together, we’ll strategize ways to sustain and expand Housing First programs amid policy shifts, funding constraints, and changing priorities in homelessness response.

HFPC 2026 will offer:

Actionable Insights: Engage in in-depth workshops and sessions designed to strengthen Housing First implementation, drive systemic change, and navigate political and structural challenges.

Collaboration and Inspiration: Hear thought-provoking keynotes and expert panels, and be part of the conversation, as we explore the challenges of implementing and sustaining Housing First, while reinforcing its proven success in ending homelessness. Gain valuable insights into comprehensive housing solutions and the critical factors driving homelessness today.

Community and Connection: Opportunities connect with peers, share diverse experiences, and build meaningful partnerships in a supportive and energizing environment.

At its core, HFPC honors the resilience, determination, and humanity of those most impacted by Housing First. It celebrates the thousands who have already chartered their own recovery from homelessness and reclaimed stability and hope through housing and support, while recognizing the critical need to extend these opportunities to many more individuals and families.

In a time when stigma and misconceptions threaten to overshadow evidence and compassion, HFPC 2026 is your opportunity to reaffirm our shared mission, energize your work, and shape the future of Housing First. Together, we can ensure that housing remains the foundation for dignity, safety, and stability for all.

This conference will bring together a diverse community of attendees, including healthcare professionals, peer specialists, addiction counselors, social workers, researchers, policymakers, funders, housing providers, property managers, business leaders, faith communities, students, and many others—whether seasoned in Housing First or just beginning their journey.

This is a conference you won’t want to miss!
